12 April: Train trip to Toledo (which sounds like playdough)

This time the high speed train to Toledo was from our train station (Atocha) so we didn't have nearly the morning escapades getting to Toledo. Toledo was not quite the magical destination we thought it was going to be, but still very enjoyable. Most of the sights weren't very exciting to toddlers, so eventually we did find the park in Toledo and that was a huge hit. It was a cute park too - right near the old synagogues. Another favorite place was running in front of the cathedral.

Toledo's main square was where Cam discovered he could chase pigeons - and the game began which continued into every Spanish city we visited.

We had to ride 2 buses and 2 trains - and Cam was very excited about that. "Did Mommy ride on a train? Did Daddy ride on a train? " Then he asked, "Did Uncle Brad ride on a train?" We said he probably had. Harper was excited that Toledo sounds like playdough.
